Yesterday, I have finished "Hyde, Jekyll and me"!
Well, to sum up, I liked the humanity of this series. The plot took us smoothly to show how "Sio Gin" is recovering from his illness (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
I liked the philosophy of the series: The first beginning of the recovery process is to tolerate your illness. In addition, it says that we should believe in ourselves and in our capability to love and be loved. Surprisingly, all works made upon the (Dissociative Identity Disorder) shows the inner character to be evil and lethal. Yet, Robin was not bad at all. Thus, this put us in front of a different trouble. In the normal cases _when the fabricated character is evil_, we all long to the moment in which the person is cured so as to get rid from this evilness. However, the series shows us the topic from a different perspective: How the farewell would be if the inner character is much better than the real one.
I loved how the series has handled the plot. I loved all the characters. I used to sympathy with "Sio-Gin" even more than Robin. I was cruel _to an extent_ with Han Ji and kept wondering if she was selfish enough to prefer the existence of Robin over the mental Sanity of "Sio Gin". I totally understand her feeling. However, I also felt pity with this poor "Sio-Gin" who has a very pure personality which he had to hide because of his traumas. So, thanks for the writer who ended the series in this manner _I will not burn the ending in case someone reads the comment before watching_. I expected it. But you _with the writer and the director_ made it in a soft manner. That was fantastic.
Concerning the friendship of Seo-Gin and "Le So Hyun", it was so nice and tender. I really wish they would remain friends forever. The scenes from their childhood were perfect and sweet.
I have just a minor question: What was the importance of his mother in the series? I guess that if the writer brought her dead, it would have been better! I mean how can a mother having such a lovely suffering kid to not have any role in his life or his recovery?
All in all, one of the best things I have recently watched.
